IHCL Signs Vivanta Hotel in Mysuru to Expand Karnataka Presence

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality company, has signed a new greenfield hotel in Mysuru under the Vivanta brand. This marks a strategic addition to IHCL’s growing footprint in Karnataka.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said, “Mysuru, with its cultural heritage and diverse economy, is emerging as a key urban hub. Infrastructure upgrades like the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway are further catalysing travel and tourism. This signing aligns with our strategy of expanding in high-potential destinations. We are pleased to partner with the Farah Group.”

The 115-key hotel will be located near the Hebbal Industrial Area and will feature an all-day dining restaurant, bar, gym, swimming pool, and event spaces, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

Liaquath Ali Khan, Managing Director, Farah Builders, said, “We are proud to collaborate with IHCL to bring Vivanta to Mysuru. This hotel will address the city’s growing hospitality needs with modern comforts.”

Renowned for its royal heritage and cultural landmarks, Mysuru is home to attractions such as the Mysuru Palace, Chamundi Hills, and Brindavan Gardens.

With this addition, IHCL’s portfolio in Karnataka rises to 26 hotels, including 12 under development.
