Indian Startup Unveils Quantum-Safe Platform to Secure Enterprises

QNu Labs, a startup selected by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) under the National Quantum Mission (NQM), has launched the world’s first and truly unique platform, QShield, which facilitates seamless cryptography management across any environment—be it cloud, on-premises, or hybrid—on the occasion of World Quantum Day.

QShield enables enterprises to safeguard their critical infrastructure at scale. Built using QNu’s proprietary technologies—Quantum Key Distribution (Armos), Quantum Random Number Generator (Tropos), Quantum Hardware Security Module (QHSM), and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) compliant with NIST standards—QShield delivers an end-to-end solution for securing sensitive data both in transit and at rest.

The launch of this platform marks another significant milestone in India’s pursuit of global leadership in quantum technologies.

QShield powers a suite of services: Qosmos for key generation, QConnect for secure connectivity, QVerse for secure collaboration, QSFS for protected file storage and sharing, and QVault for key management. These services collectively provide enterprises with a pathway to quantum-proof their critical and diverse infrastructures. With unified management, flexible deployment options, and easy integration with third-party services, QShield equips organisations to protect their vital data today—while preparing them for a secure, quantum-ready tomorrow.
