Infosys BPM leases 1.3L sq ft in Pune’s Embassy Tech Zone


Infosys BPM, the business process arm of Infosys, has leased around 1.3 lakh sq ft of office space at Pune’s Embassy Tech Zone in Hinjawadi. As per registration documents accessed by Propstack, the company will pay a monthly rent of Rs 7 million for a period of three years.

The lease, signed at Rs 55 per sq ft per month, began on June 4, 2024, and was registered on December 12. Infosys has also paid a security deposit of Rs 63 million for the space, which spans five floors across Wing A and B. The property is owned by Embassy Pune Techzone Pvt Ltd.

This lease adds to a series of big-ticket commercial deals in Pune. Earlier, CitiCorp Services India leased over 7.7 lakh sq ft from Panchshil Business Spaces at Kharadi for 10 years, in a deal valued around Rs 10.96 billion.

Co-working operator Awfis also picked up 2.7 lakh sq ft in Nyati Enthral 2, Kharadi, for five years at an annual rent of Rs 157.7 million.

In November 2024, CA (India) Technologies, a subsidiary of a US-based software firm, renewed a 1.08 lakh sq ft lease in Kharadi for five years at a yearly rent of over Rs 120 million.
