ITC Hotels Adds 14 Fortune Properties, Expands to 65 Cities

ITC Hotels Ltd has announced the addition of 14 new properties under its Fortune Hotels brand in the 2024–25 financial year, including the launch of seven new hotels, reinforcing its focus on tier II and III cities.

The expansion strengthens the brand’s position in India’s upscale to mid-market hospitality segment, while also marking its first international foray with a hotel in Bhaktapur, Nepal. The new openings in India include Pahalgam, Puri, Chennai, Candolim, Palampur, and Ekta Nagar.

As of 31 March 2025, Fortune Hotels’ portfolio includes 78 properties—56 operational and 22 in the pipeline—spread across more than 65 cities in India and Nepal.

Managing Director Anil Chadha stated, “We reaffirm our commitment to sustained growth and excellence in hospitality. This footprint expansion endeavours to offer travellers access to prime locations and Fortune’s comfortable hospitality.”

New signings were announced in destinations such as Goa, Kolkata, Rishikesh, Indore, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar, Gorakhpur, Mohali, Surat, and Ayodhya, further accelerating the brand’s reach.

The Fortune brand, part of ITC’s diversified hospitality portfolio, continues to tap into emerging and underserved markets, aligning with India’s growing travel and tourism ecosystem.
