Jharkhand CM Urges Quick Construction of Affordable Homes

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has instructed state officials to accelerate the construction of affordable housing projects. During a recent review meeting, Soren emphasised the need for timely completion to address the growing housing demands of the state's lower-income population.

The Chief Minister's directive comes as part of the state's broader initiative to provide affordable housing to all. Soren highlighted that these projects are critical for improving living conditions and ensuring that every citizen has access to decent housing. He urged officials to remove any bottlenecks and expedite the construction process.

The state's affordable housing schemes have faced delays due to various administrative and logistical challenges. Soren stressed the importance of resolving these issues promptly to avoid further delays. He also directed the officials to ensure the quality of construction and the timely handover of completed units to the beneficiaries.

Soren's administration is focused on achieving the housing targets set under various central and state schemes. The Chief Minister also called for greater transparency and accountability in the implementation of these projects. He suggested regular monitoring and evaluation to track progress and address any issues that arise promptly.

In addition to speeding up construction, Soren emphasised the need to focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly building practices. He encouraged the use of green technologies and materials to make the housing projects more energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable.

The acceleration of affordable housing projects is expected to provide a significant boost to the state's infrastructure and economy. It will also help meet the housing needs of the state's underprivileged sections, improving their quality of life and contributing to overall social welfare.
