Karnataka Invites Rs 2.41 Bn Bids for Sattigeri Lift Project


Karnataka Neeravari Nigam has invited bids for the Rs 2.41 billion Phase-II of the Sattigeri Lift Irrigation Scheme in Savadatti, Belagavi. The project involves extending the rising main to two distributory canals, building supporting structures, and setting up a gravity-based distribution system to irrigate 6,878 hectares.

Work includes design, supply, and commissioning of the lift system that draws water from the Ghataprabha River. The contract also includes five years of O&M after commissioning. Bids close on 12 May.
