Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Construction's Transportation Infrastructure business vertical has informed that they have secured a contract to build a bridge connecting Dahisar and Bhayander in Mumbai. Furthermore, the project would also feature two large navigational spans along the creek. According to the L&T project classification index, the project had been categorised as "Large," placing the value of the construction between Rs 25 billion and Rs 50 billion. L&T stated that they were already working on two Mumbai Coastal Road projects for the MCGM. Additionally, the construction giant's civil infrastructure vertical had recently secured a "Mega" project from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). It was reported that this project involved designing and constructing an underground road tunnel and was worth Rs 70 billion.
