DMRC Starts Land Acquisition for Two Delhi Metro Phase 4 Lines

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has begun the process of acquiring land for two key corridors planned under Phase 4 of the Delhi Metro expansion. These corridors, spanning from Aerocity to Tughlakabad and from Rithala to Narela, are pivotal in extending and improving metro connectivity throughout the national capital.

The acquisition efforts are focused on securing land parcels necessary for constructing stations, depots, and other essential infrastructure along these routes. This proactive step is crucial for ensuring timely implementation of the metro expansion project, which is expected to significantly ease commuting woes and enhance urban mobility across Delhi.

Phase 4 of the Delhi Metro expansion aims to cater to the burgeoning population and increasing transportation demands of the city. By expanding its network, DMRC aims to provide efficient and sustainable public transportation options, thereby reducing congestion and air pollution in the metropolitan area.

DMRC's commencement of land acquisition underscores its commitment to advancing infrastructure development in Delhi. This initiative is poised to pave the way for smoother project execution and the eventual integration of new metro lines into the city's existing transport network, benefiting millions of commuters and contributing to Delhi's overall development as a modern urban centre.
