Navlakhe, key to new Parliament building, exits Tata Projects

Sandeep Navlakhe, renowned for spearheading the successful completion of India's cutting-edge Parliament building, has tendered his resignation as the Executive Vice President of Tata Projects Ltd. Navlakhe's pivotal role in orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of this landmark project underscored his expertise. He also led the company's buildings, factories, and airports business units.

In a statement, Navlakhe's departure was characterised as a shift driven by "better growth opportunities." While Navlakhe declined to elaborate further on his decision, it's worth noting that his resignation had been submitted around two months prior, with August 21, 2023 marking his final day in the role.

Boasting a distinguished 32-year career in the construction sector, Navlakhe, an alumnus of BITS Pilani, had previously contributed over two decades to Larsen and Toubro (L&T). His capabilities spanned tendering, planning, execution, and commercial acumen. Among his accomplishments are significant infrastructure projects such as the Prayagraj Airport, India's pioneering maritime museum, its inaugural smog tower, prominent residential skyscrapers, and the transformative Puri Parikrama Project.

Tata Projects, a pioneering technology-centric engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) enterprise in India, faces Navlakhe's departure even as his legacy of accomplishment endures.
