PNC Infratech Wins Rs 29.6 Billion Mining Contract from SECL
PNC Infratech Ltd has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a mining services contract floated by South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The contract, valued at Rs 29.57 billion (excluding GST), includes handling, transport, and other mining services such as the hiring of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) for overburden removal and coal extraction using surface miners. The scope also covers loading and transportation of extracted coal to designated locations at the Gevra OCP expansion project. The contract is to be executed over a five-year period, with financial bids opened on 28 July 2025.
Separately, the company also received a Letter of Acceptance from the Public Works Department, Rajasthan, for the construction of a flyover in Bharatpur city. The project, awarded on 6 June 2025 and valued at Rs 2.4 billion, involves building a flyover from Heeradas Chouraha to Kumher Gate Chouraha under an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) model. It is scheduled for completion within two years.
Shares of PNC Infratech Ltd closed at Rs 297.75 on the BSE, down Rs 6.10 or 2.01 per cent.
