Rajasthan Housing Board Launches Scheme
The Rajasthan Housing Board is set to roll out a fresh housing scheme across five major cities—Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Alwar, and Bharatpur—aimed at expanding access to affordable residential spaces for the state's urban population. This initiative aligns with the state’s ongoing efforts to promote inclusive urban development and meet the rising demand for quality housing.
Under the new scheme, hundreds of residential units will be made available to middle- and lower-income groups, with a focus on affordability, modern amenities, and strategic locations. These homes will be offered through an online lottery-based system to ensure transparency and fair access. The board also plans to incorporate eco-friendly features and efficient construction practices in line with sustainable development goals. Infrastructure surrounding the housing projects—such as roads, parks, and public transport—will be improved to support comfortable living.
This scheme is expected to not only address the growing housing needs but also boost the local real estate sector and create employment opportunities during construction and after completion. With urbanisation accelerating across Rajasthan, the Housing Board’s proactive approach aims to balance growth with accessibility, helping more families realise their dream of homeownership in rapidly expanding cities.
