RECPDCL Transfers Talegaon Power SPV to Adani Energy


REC Power Development and Consultancy (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC, the Maharatna CPSU under the aegis of Ministry of Power, handed over a project specific SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) of ISTS Transmission Project under TBCB route viz, WRNES Talegaon Power Transmission to Adani Energy Solutions on 30th May 2025. The estimated cost of the project is around Rs 18.07 BILLION.
Adani Energy Solutions emerged as the Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process conducted by RECPDCL, the Bid Process Coordinator, for development of the transmission project on Build, Own, Operate & Transfer (BOOT) basis. 
The SPV was handed over by TSC Bosh, CEO, RECPDCL to Sanjay Arvind Johri, Vice President (BD), Adani Energy Solutions in the presence of Senior Officials of RECPDCL, Adani Energy Solutions and Central Transmission Utility of India. The implementation period of the project is till 01.01.2028.
The scheme covers establishment of 765/400 kV (2x1500 MVA) Substaion near South of Kalamb, LILO of approx. 89.18 km of 765 KV Pune-III to Boisar-II line along with other associated works.
