Sonowal launches Bharat Pravah


According to an official statement, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday unveiled the project & Bharat Pravah - India along its Shores," which aims to emphasise the significance of rivers, ports, and shipping in the daily lives of ordinary people through literature, dialogue, and communication. According to Sonowal, rivers and oceans continue to be important to our spiritual lives.

According to the release, Sonowal said, "It is crucial that those who live on the land are also reminded of the significance of rivers and seas.

The government, according to the minister of shipping, waterways, and ports, has set out to achieve port-led development and include the common people in India's success story through Sagarmala, its flagship programme.

Events under the Bharat Pravah initiative would be planned around a variety of subjects, including "Sea, Rivers, Ports and Ship in Folk Culture and Literature" and "Rivers and Sea-Centric Development in India: Through a Historical Lens.
