Though the order value has not been disclosed, it will be executed under an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) model. Suzlon will supply 48 S120 wind turbine generators, each with a capacity of 2.1 MW, mounted on Hybrid Lattice Towers.

Apart from supplying the turbines, Suzlon will handle installation, commissioning, and provide full operations and maintenance services after the project goes live.

The deal will expand Sunsure’s renewable energy portfolio and help it deliver round-the-clock green power to customers in Maharashtra.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to India’s renewable energy transition,” said Vivek Srivastava, CEO – India Business, Suzlon Group.

Sunsure Energy’s Co-founder and CCO Manish Mehta said the project is a milestone in its aim to reach 10 GW of clean energy capacity by 2030. “Adding wind energy helps us scale up RTC capabilities and offset more of our customers’ power needs with renewables,” he added.
