Backed by a total investment of Rs 600 million—Rs 500 million from Tata Technologies and Rs 100 million from the Rashtreeya Sikshana Samithi Trust (RSST), which governs RVCE—the CIIIT is set to emerge as a premier skill development and innovation hub for southern India.

The center features advanced industrial infrastructure, including smart manufacturing tools and dedicated labs, to enable students, startups, and MSMEs to benefit from hands-on learning, real-time assessments, and technological support.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. K. N. Subramanya, Principal, RVCE, said, “The Center for Invention, Innovation, Incubation & Training (CIIIT) at RVCE represents a transformative ecosystem aimed at bridging academia and industry. It empowers students with hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0, supports rural youth with vocational training, and nurtures startups through mentorship.”
