TCS Renews Five-year Partnership with Norway's DNB Bank ASA
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended its partnership with DNB Bank ASA, Norway’s largest financial services group, for an additional five years. The renewed collaboration will focus on supporting DNB’s digital modernization efforts while improving cost efficiency. TCS will deploy next-generation technologies to enhance the bank’s transformation initiatives, which include maintaining and developing applications, strengthening security infrastructure, and integrating advanced solutions such as artificial intelligence and quantum computing.
Over the past 12 years, TCS has played a crucial role in DNB’s innovation and digital transformation journey. The partnership has led to the development of key digital solutions, including the launch of the bank’s peer-to-peer mobile payment platform, which has reinforced DNB’s position in the competitive mobile payments sector. In addition, TCS has been instrumental in creating various digital products while ensuring secure and stable banking operations.
The TCS Sahyadri Park campus in Pune, India, will continue to provide essential support for DNB’s critical services. With a presence in Norway for three decades, TCS has established itself as a key technology partner for leading enterprises across the Nordic region. Currently, more than 20,000 TCS employees support major companies in banking, financial services, insurance, telecom, and high-tech sectors, contributing to the region’s digital growth and modernization.
