Vikram Solar Wins Rs 7 Billion MAHAGENCO Order

Vikram Solar has secured a major solar module supply order worth approximately Rs 7 billion (around USD 84 million) from Maharashtra State Power Generation Co Ltd (MAHAGENCO), the company announced.

The order includes 150 MW of advanced N-Type solar modules and will support the state’s Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0, aimed at powering agricultural feeders with solar energy. The modules will be deployed across Jalgaon and Solapur districts in Maharashtra.

“This order is another step forward in our mission to power a greener India through high-efficiency solar solutions,” said Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar. “We see Maharashtra as a high-potential market and remain optimistic about the region's accelerating demand for renewable energy.”

The project is expected to significantly enhance the region's renewable capacity, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainable development.

With this deal, Vikram Solar further cements its position as a leading name on India’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM), continuing its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability in solar energy solutions.
