Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has secured a Letter of Award (LOA) from Waaree Energies Limited for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of a 170 MW AC / 255 MW DC ground-mounted solar power project. The contract also includes Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services on a turnkey basis. 

Valued at Rs 2.32 billion (excluding taxes), the project is scheduled for completion in FY 2025-26 as part of Waaree Renewable Tech’s expansion in the solar EPC sector. The company confirmed that the contract was awarded by Waaree Energies Limited, its promoter entity. 

Additionally, Waaree Renewable Technologies, as part of a three-member consortium, has also received an LOA for an EPC contract for a 125 MW AC (181.3 MWp DC) solar power project. This contract, worth approximately Rs 7.4 billion (inclusive of taxes), includes turnkey execution and O&M services and was awarded by a leading power distribution company. The specific roles of the consortium members will be finalized in due course.
