YEIDA Starts Developing Land Ameneties to Woo Farmers
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) wishes to acquire 13,300 acres of land near the Noida International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway to establish as an investment hub for businesses and developers.
To accomplish this, the company is currently working on a series of development projects aimed at improving the amenities of the area to win over farmer support and consent for acquisition. These developments include improving sewage, building roads, parks, sports facilities, and healthcare services. the company has approved Rs 50 billion for these projects.

To date, YEIDA has acquired only 20,000 hectares along the expressway, with further land acquisitions underway as it continues to work directly with farmers willing to sell their land for the project.
