Yuvraj Vohra launches Villaro Design Studio in Delhi

Furniture designer Yuvraj Vohra has launched Villaro Design Studio on MG Road, Delhi, introducing a furniture brand built around an architectural approach to materials, proportion and craftsmanship.

Trained in architecture, Vohra approaches furniture as an integral part of the spaces it occupies rather than as standalone objects. The collection explores the relationship between architecture and material, using stone, marble, wood, metal and upholstery as key elements of the design.

The range includes sculptural marble fireplaces, sofas incorporating stone elements and hand-fluted stone surfaces. Seamless corners and a palette featuring ivory, black and Calacatta Viola further define the collection's material-led design language.

Villaro also places emphasis on transparency in its manufacturing process. Each piece undergoes a full kitting process before production, with materials, components and specifications reviewed and approved in advance. Quality checks are conducted at multiple stages, with clients receiving QC reports during production.

The studio has been designed as a collaborative resource for architects and interior designers, offering support through furniture presentations, shop drawings, 3D files, material samples and digital and physical mood boards. The team also works with design professionals on customisation, technical detailing, manufacturing and installation.

The new studio presents the furniture within complete spatial settings, allowing visitors to understand how individual pieces relate to architecture and interiors. With Villaro, Vohra aims to bring together material-driven design, craftsmanship and closer collaboration between furniture designers, architects and interior designers.
