Ambuja Cement Foundation, TSPL enter pact for Punjab self-help schemes
The partnership plans to promote 200 self-help groups in Punjab's Mansa district. The focus of the groups will be on women's empowerment. It will establish at least three independent enterprises to address community problems in the district, according to the memorandum of understanding (MoU).
As the major focus is on women, gender, and livelihoods, the new partnership with TSPL will further support us to drive impactful initiatives under the women empowerment programme and enhance the already existing programmes in Punjab, said managing director and chief executive officer Pearl Tiwari.
