JK Cement subsidiary has acquired paint manufacturer and construction chemicals company Acro Paints. The company has initially invested an amount of Rs 1.53 billion and completed the acquisition of 60 per cent equity shares. APL has become a subsidiary of JKPCL and a step-down subsidiary of the company with immediate effect. The acquisition would give a commercial presence to the company in the paint business segment.
