JK Cement Expands with New Grinding Unit in Buxar, Bihar

JK Cement has marked a significant milestone in its expansion efforts with the foundation-laying of a new Grey Cement Grinding Unit in Buxar, Bihar. The Rs 5 billion project is part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Eastern India and address the growing demand for premium cement in the region. The ceremony, led by Dr. Nidhipati Singhania, Vice Chairman, and Madhavkrishna Singhania, Joint Managing Director and CEO, was attended by other senior officials. Dr. Raghavpat Singhania, Managing Director, emphasised that the new unit would not only boost JK Cement’s national footprint but also contribute to the economic and infrastructural growth of Bihar. With a proposed capacity of 3.00 MTPA, the Buxar facility will help balance market demand and supply, and JK Cement anticipates surpassing a production capacity of 30 MTPA by next year. Madhavkrishna Singhania highlighted the project’s role in supporting Bihar and Uttar Pradesh’s development, where the company already holds a strong presence. As Bihar continues its rapid infrastructure growth, JK Cement’s innovative solutions and high-quality products will play a key role in driving progress and supporting India's broader development goals.
