UltraTech Cement will acquire a 26 per cent stake in Solaris Horizon Energy, a special purpose vehicle promoted by Waaree Forever Energies, for up to ₹277.5 million. The SPV is developing a 65 MW solar power project in Chhattisgarh to supply captive renewable power to UltraTech’s plants in Mungeli district. The transaction, structured through energy supply and shareholder agreements, is expected to be completed within 180 days and will support the company’s renewable energy and operating cost objectives.
