Venus Pipes Commences Fittings Plant And Expands Seamless Capacity
Venus Pipes commissioned an additional 4,200 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) of seamless pipes and tubes capacity under the current phase, bringing the total incremental seamless capacity under the overall expansion to 6,000 MTPA, higher than the 4,800 MTPA initially planned. The company had commissioned 1,800 MTPA in November 2025. It also commissioned an equivalent Mother Hollow Pipes capacity as backward integration to support seamless production.
The newly operational fittings facility reflects a strategy of forward integration into value-added product categories and is aimed at enhancing the product mix. The additions are intended to strengthen positioning as a comprehensive stainless steel piping solutions provider for end-user industries including Power, Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Engineering, as well as emerging sectors such as Data Centres and Semiconductor manufacturing. Management indicated that these steps are designed to deepen customer engagement and support long-term growth opportunities.
Venus Pipes supplies a range of seamless and welded tubes and pipes and exports to more than 30 countries, including the United States, markets in the Middle East and members of the European Union. The company stated that the capacity increases and integration measures will support both domestic sales and international expansion of value-added offerings.
