The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved investments, infrastructure and governance proposals to accelerate growth across the state and neighbouring regions. Ministers cleared allocation of 998.10 acres to GeoMysore India Pvt Ltd for the Jonnagiri gold mine in Kurnool and authorised leasing of 40.12 acres of endowments land to support the project. The measures are part of a wider industrial and public sector funding package.

The Cabinet approved land allotments cleared by the State Investment Promotion Board, including 60.29 acres at Rs 1.5 million (mn) per acre for the Adani Foundation to develop a skill, education and healthcare ecosystem in Visakhapatnam, 91.38 acres for Ecobox Industrial Asset IV Pvt Ltd for a logistics and light industrial park, and 93.43 acres for Berry Alloys Ltd for a Rs 12 billion (bn) integrated steel raw material project in Vizianagaram.

It cleared 34.02 acres for Akshat Greentech Pvt Ltd to set up a 3,500 megawatt (MW) solar cell manufacturing unit in Anakapalle with an investment of Rs 16 bn and about 750 jobs. Incentive packages were approved for Mondelez India at Rs 18.01 bn, for Averon Panels at Rs 11.38 bn and for SAF One India at Rs 13.56 bn for expansion and new projects that aim to strengthen local manufacturing capacity.

An Integrated Logistics Park at Satyavedu in Tirupati covering 63.01 acres was approved as a Rs 2.55 bn project with warehousing, container yards, truck terminals and cold storage, expected to create around 1,000 jobs. The Cabinet also cleared tourism incentives for projects in Nellore, Kadapa and Vijayawada and amended the tourism policy to facilitate concerts.

For Amaravati, the government approved fresh CRDA land allotments, amendments to land pooling rules and doubled monthly rehabilitation assistance for 634 displaced families from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000. It also approved implementation of an agricultural loan waiver scheme for eligible farmers in seven Land Pooling Scheme villages as part of the wider Amaravati measures.

Major public infrastructure decisions included sanction of ten Multi-Village Drinking Water Schemes worth Rs 93.55 bn and 2,943 drinking water works costing Rs 18.12 bn, subject to availability of Jal Jeevan Mission funds. The government approved Rs 18 bn working capital support for AP MARKFED, the establishment of an exclusive NIA special court at Visakhapatnam, three Dr B R Ambedkar centres of excellence for IIT-JEE and NEET coaching and other administrative and land-use approvals to expedite project delivery.
