Asian Energy Wins Rs 4.59 Billion Coal Project in Odisha

Asian Energy Services Limited (AESL), along with its joint venture partner, has secured a prestigious contract from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) for the establishment of a Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in Odisha.

The project, valued at approximately Rs 4.59 billion (inclusive of GST and BOCW Cess), represents the largest CHP order ever won by Asian Energy Services. The contract covers Pre-Engineered Turnkey Execution, which includes design, supply, erection, commissioning, trial run, testing, and operation and maintenance during the Defect Liability Period (DLP).

The project will be implemented over a seven-year period and is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing coal handling efficiency and operational reliability at MCL’s facilities.

This milestone order underscores Asian Energy Services’ growing leadership in India’s energy infrastructure sector and reflects its proven capabilities in delivering large-scale, technology-driven industrial projects.
