NCC bags Rs 68.3 billion coal mining order in Jharkhand
In a regulatory filing, NCC stated that it received a letter of acceptance dated 24 October from CCL for work related to the Amrapali open-cast project located in the Chandragupt area of Jharkhand.
The project involves removal of 413.59 million cubic metres (CuM) of overburden, extraction of 233.325 million tonnes (MT) of coal, and transportation to Shivpur siding and surface stockyards under various lead slabs. It also includes wagon loading of 139.995 MT of coal at the Shivpur siding.
To execute the project, NCC will deploy Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) to manage large-scale excavation and logistics efficiently.
