Rajasthan Moves Mining Processes Fully Online From 15 December
Ravikant explained that the department has developed two mobile applications and fourteen online modules covering key functions such as e-Ravanna, e-payment, contractor registration, mining plans, liabilities, no-dues certificates, demand generation and inspections. He noted that despite the availability of these digital platforms, much of the work was still being carried out offline. From 15 December, the department will strictly prohibit any offline processing.
He added that mandatory online operations will increase transparency, reduce delays, eliminate unnecessary office visits and ease the workload of field officers. He said the modules were simple to use and urged officials to take the lead in adopting digital services.
Mines Director Mahaveer Prasad Meena said orientation sessions are under way in Jaipur and Udaipur for officials across all zones, adding that full digital implementation will be ensured by mid-December. Around 90 officials participated in the Jaipur workshop, the department said.
