Refex Industries Limited has secured an order worth Rs 0.28 billion from a public sector power company for the transportation of pond ash to road projects undertaken by the National Highways Authority of India, the company said in an exchange filing.

The contract will be executed over a four-month period and has been awarded by a domestic public sector entity. Refex Industries clarified that neither its promoters nor promoter group companies have any interest in the awarding authority and that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party deal.

Headquartered in Chennai, Refex Industries operates across multiple segments, including ash and coal handling, wind energy and green mobility solutions, supporting both infrastructure development and sustainability initiatives.

For the quarter ended September 2025, the company reported a 20.5 per cent year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 0.37 billion. Revenue from operations, however, declined marginally by 0.3 per cent to Rs 4.27 billion during the same period.

At the time of reporting, shares of Refex Industries were trading 3.52 per cent lower on the BSE at Rs 294.55.
