CNOOC Launches Huizhou 26-6 Oilfield Development Project
The development involves 19 wells, comprising two oil production wells and 17 gas production wells, and is projected to reach a peak output of approximately 20,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2027. The primary outputs are light crude oil and natural gas.
This marks CNOOC’s first deep buried hill reservoir development in the South China Sea, leveraging cutting-edge technologies for efficient offshore resource extraction. The project is expected to significantly contribute to the economic and social growth of the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area.
CNOOC Limited holds full ownership and serves as the operator of the project. (energy-pedia)
