Engineering and construction conglomerate Larsen & Toubro (L&T) announced on Thursday that it has secured a significant order from the state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). This order, classified as 'large' by L&T, indicates a contract value between Rs 25 billion and Rs 50 billion, highlighting the substantial scale and importance of the project.

L&T explained that its Hydrocarbon vertical, known as L&T Energy, has been awarded this order for the Daman Upside Development Project-Wellhead Platforms & Pipelines (DUDP-WP). This project is situated off the west coast of India, a strategic location for oil and natural gas extraction.

The Daman Upside Development Project involves the construction and installation of wellhead platforms and associated pipelines, which are crucial components for the efficient extraction and transport of hydrocarbons.
