Heavy electrical engineering solutions provider Aartech Solonics has secured a strategic order from Qatar for the supply of its flagship Current Limiting Protectors (CLPs), marking the company’s official entry into the Middle East energy market.

Although the value of the order was not disclosed, the company stated that this development addresses the region’s rising demand for robust and efficient power technologies.

Aartech’s CLP is designed to enhance circuit safety by swiftly limiting excess current, thus preventing equipment damage, reducing operational downtime, and ensuring continuity in mission-critical infrastructure. The technology is gaining adoption across renewable energy, industrial automation, smart grids, and data centres due to its reliability and adaptability.

The company also announced the successful completion of a power infrastructure project for Java Power in Indonesia. The deployment of advanced Bus Transfer Systems has reinforced grid stability and bolstered Aartech’s presence in Southeast Asia.

Domestically, the company secured a major contract from Chhattisgarh Power for SCADA-enabled Control and Relay Panels, reflecting strong demand for next-generation grid management solutions in India. Aartech’s BestCase division also delivered customised IP-rated rugged enclosures to the Indian Air Force and Navy, demonstrating its capabilities in defence-grade systems.

Aartech reported a 110 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 27.3 million in FY25, compared to Rs 13 million in FY24. Revenue rose 11.03 per cent to Rs 363.5 million, up from Rs 327.4 million the previous year. This performance was attributed to successful execution of strategic initiatives and expanding market reach.

Looking forward, Aartech aims to scale its international operations in power switching and protection technologies, while advancing R&D in defence applications. Key focus areas include the Adaptive Alternate Power Module (AAPM) for armoured vehicles—currently undergoing validation trials—and the Electro-Magnetic Launch System (EMLS) developed with R&DEE Pune for aircraft and drone propulsion.
