Adani Green Sets Up New Renewable Subsidiary
According to an exchange filing, Ecothrive Renewables was incorporated on December 26, 2025, and is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, at Ahmedabad. The newly formed company is yet to commence business operations.
The primary objective of Ecothrive Renewables is to generate, develop, distribute, transmit, sell and supply power using renewable energy sources such as solar, wind and other clean energy technologies. Adani Renewable Energy Holding Eleven Limited holds 100 per cent of the share capital of the new subsidiary.
Ecothrive Renewables has an authorised capital of Rs 0.1 million and a paid-up capital of Rs 0.1 million.
Adani Green Energy is India’s largest renewable energy company and one of the leading clean energy players globally. The company develops, owns and operates utility-scale, grid-connected solar, wind, hybrid and pumped storage power projects and has set a target of achieving 50 GW of installed capacity by 2030, in line with India’s decarbonisation goals.
In its financial performance, Adani Green Energy reported a 111.2 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 5.83 billion in the second quarter of FY26, despite a 5.3 per cent decline in net sales to Rs 28.24 billion compared with the same period last year.
On the stock market, shares of Adani Green Energy closed 1.29 per cent lower at Rs 1,004.75 on the BSE.
