Asian Energy Wins Rs 8.65 Billion Vedanta Contract

Asian Energy Services Limited (AESL), a leading integrated services provider for the energy and mining sectors, has secured an Integrated Service Contract from Vedanta Limited, valued at Rs 8.65 billion (inclusive of GST). The contract, spanning 57 months, underscores AESL’s growing presence in India’s upstream oil and gas services sector.
The scope of the agreement includes comprehensive field development planning, skilled manpower deployment, 24/7 operational support, and predictive maintenance across upstream facilities. AESL will also ensure regulatory compliance, maintain production uptime targets, and enhance efficiency through innovation.
With the Indian government pushing to reduce crude oil imports by 10 per cent and boost domestic output, players like Vedanta are partnering with service specialists to improve brownfield performance and integrated field management. The contract is expected to generate both direct and indirect employment, particularly in Rajasthan, with additional project-linked impact across other states.
Dr Kapil Garg, Managing Director of AESL, noted, “We are honoured by this repeat engagement from Vedanta. It reaffirms the trust built through consistent delivery and our focus on operational excellence in the energy sector.”
The deal adds to AESL’s order book and strengthens its revenue pipeline over the next five years. It reinforces the company’s strategy of expanding annuity-based, long-term contracts in operations-intensive segments.
