Dilip Buildcon Emerges L1 for MP Solar Project

Dilip Buildcon has been declared the lowest (L1) bidder by Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam for a large solar power project under the PM KUSUM-C scheme.

The project involves setting up grid-connected solar PV power plants with a cumulative capacity of 1,363.55 MW (AC) under the feeder solarisation component. Power generated from the project will be sold to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company for a period of 25 years.

Dilip Buildcon will execute the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) scope of the project, valued at around Rs 4,900 crore excluding GST, with an estimated execution timeline of 18 months. The scope of work includes development, design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, commissioning and operation of the solar plants.

The project will operate under a tariff-based power purchase agreement with MPPMCL, in line with guidelines issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and regulations of the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission.
