Gensol Engineering wins 16 MW rooftop solar project in Madhya Pradesh

Gensol Engineering has secured a 16-megawatt rooftop solar project from a prominent textile company in Madhya Pradesh. This project, awarded under the company's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) segment, will be executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis. Gensol Engineering received the Letter of Award (LOA) for the turnkey EPC project, which is valued significantly. This repeat order will be installed in Madhya Pradesh, with the company planning to commission the project within six months. The project will feature high-efficiency bifacial solar modules, which capture sunlight from both sides, enhancing energy production.

Shilpa Urhekar, CEO, Solar EPC (India) at Gensol Engineering, highlighted the significance of the project, stating, "Upon completion, this will be among the largest rooftop solar projects in India, utilising an extensive rooftop area."
