Goyal Aluminiums plans to set up EV plant in UP
A business official told PTI on Wednesday that "Goyal Aluminiums is preparing to set up a new electric car manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 200 crore."
The business has announced its entry into the electric vehicle market through its newly formed partnership Wroley E India.
"Scooters with low speeds and electricity will only be made for the domestic market. The Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT) has already given the company the go-ahead to introduce the first high-speed electric scooter in April of this year "added the spokeswoman.
Plot 283 in GNIDA's industrial area, approximately 4,000 square metres, has been given to the business on a 90-year lease. By 2024, the company aims to have 150 dealers working in the EV market.
