GREW Solar Gets ALMM Approval For Three GW G12R Modules
Company representatives said the ALMM listing validates the product against rigorous quality and performance standards and confirms eligibility for government mandated and utility scale projects nationwide. The G12R high power series offers module output of up to 635 watt (W) and can reduce the total module count by six to eight per cent per megawatt (MW), thereby lowering structure, cabling and land requirements while improving installation timelines and overall engineering, procurement and construction efficiency.
The modules feature an optimized cell layout and enhanced mechanical strength that enable six to seven per cent higher container power density and one point five to three per cent higher power per square metre compared with standard TOPCon modules, supporting greater shipping and site level efficiencies. These attributes are expected to assist developers and owners in reducing balance of system costs and in accelerating project execution.
GREW Solar, a venture of the Chiripal Group, currently operates a six point five gigawatt photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturing plant in Dudu and is planning to scale capacity to 11 GW by the end of 2026. The firm is also establishing an eight GW solar PV cell facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh and manufactures high efficiency n-type TOPCon modules on G12R and M10 platforms intended for reliable performance across utility, commercial, industrial and rooftop projects.
