Hartek Power Wins 400 MW Solar EPC Project in Rajasthan
Under the terms of the contract Hartek will undertake the full EPC lifecycle, including detailed engineering, procurement, installation, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plant and the associated pooling substation. The scope includes management of owner-supplied equipment, grid interconnection and handover following final project commissioning. Project delivery will include testing protocols and performance validation before commercial operation. The company will also assume responsibility for systems integration and site civil works required for plant operation.
The order adds to Hartek's portfolio in Rajasthan, where in April 2024 it commissioned a 300 MWac project equivalent to 435 MWp DC across 1,209 acres. In October 2025 the firm secured an Rs 4.74 bn EPC contract for a 300 MW ground-mount solar plant that included complete EPC works, pooling substation infrastructure and grid connectivity. The company noted the contracts demonstrate growing investor confidence in regional solar capacity. The latest award follows a series of utility-scale deliveries that underpin its construction capabilities.
Beyond generation assets the project calls for construction of a 220 kV solar pooling substation to enable power evacuation into the grid. The order reinforces Hartek Power's position among India's power and renewable EPC companies, with expertise in extra-high-voltage substations, transmission infrastructure and large-scale renewable projects. The company intends to continue expanding its presence in the renewable energy ecosystem and to support the development of resilient, grid-connected clean energy infrastructure nationwide.
