Hind Rectifiers Limited, a leading manufacturer of power semiconductors, power electronic equipment and railway transportation systems, has announced a strategic acquisition in Europe to strengthen its presence in the global robotics and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) markets.
The company has acquired BeLink Solutions, a France-based robotics, EMS and electronics R&D company with 38 years of industry experience. The acquisition provides Hind Rectifiers with a European manufacturing hub, enhancing its global reach.
Transaction Details
Through a proposed subsidiary, Hind Rectifiers has acquired the business and operating assets of BeLink Solutions for EUR 1 million (around Rs 90 million). The entire consideration will be paid in cash, funded through internal accruals.
An additional EUR 2 million (around Rs 180 million) is being infused into the subsidiary. Of this, Hind Rectifiers will contribute EUR 1 million as preference shares on its own, while the remaining EUR 1 million will be issued as equity shares. Hind Rectifiers will take a 66 per cent stake, with promoter group companies holding the remaining 34 per cent.
The deal brings into Hind Rectifiers’ fold a state-of-the-art production and testing facility, including plant and machinery, intellectual property, technology, customer contracts and purchase orders.
Strategic Rationale
The acquisition establishes a European base for EMS, robotics and power electronics manufacturing. BeLink’s infrastructure includes six fully automated production lines and advanced testing equipment, enabling Hind Rectifiers to meet rising global demand.
BeLink is projected to generate EUR 13 million (around Rs 1.17 billion) in revenue for 2025, with EUR 10 million (around Rs 900 million) in pending orders for 2026, offering strong growth visibility.
