Hindustan Power Wins SECI Bids For Solar And Storage Projects

Hindustan Power announced on Tuesday that it has won a bid from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to develop a solar project equipped with an energy storage system.

The project involves installing around 300 MWp of solar capacity along with 300 MWh of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), the company said in its statement.

Separately, Hindustan Power has secured another SECI project to develop a combined solar and storage facility with a contracted capacity of 150 MW of solar power.

The company, a leading integrated power-generation player in India, continues to expand its portfolio in renewable and transitional energy solutions through these new awards.
