Inox Green Wins O&M Contract for 625 MWp Bhadla Solar

Inox Green Energy Services, part of the INOXGFL Group and a subsidiary of Inox Wind, has received a letter of award from KEC International Ltd to provide operations and maintenance services for a 625 MWp solar power project at Bhadla in Rajasthan.

In a press release, Inox Green said the contract expands its solar O&M portfolio beyond 3 GW, while its overall renewable O&M capacity, spanning solar and wind assets, has now crossed 13 GW. The company said it continues to scale up rapidly across renewable segments through both organic growth and large-scale contract wins.

SK Mathu Sudhana, Chief Executive Officer of Inox Green Energy Services, said the agreement marks an important milestone in the company’s solar O&M expansion. He added that Inox Green is actively pursuing large opportunities across solar, wind and renewable infrastructure O&M, and expects further additions driven by the rapid capacity expansion of Inox Clean Energy, a group company.

KEC International, the infrastructure engineering arm of the RPG Group, entered the wind energy segment earlier this year, securing orders worth around Rs 10.5 billion. The company has been awarded projects across multiple segments, including transmission, civil construction, cables, conductors and renewable energy.

As part of its foray into wind energy EPC, KEC also secured an order for over 100 MW of balance-of-plant works on a wind power project in southern India from a leading private developer. The order marks KEC’s initial step into wind EPC and signals its intention to capture opportunities in India’s fast-growing renewable energy market by leveraging its established engineering and project execution capabilities.
