Noida, 19 August 2025 – Inox Wind Limited (IWL), a leading wind energy solutions provider, has sold a stake worth Rs 1.75 billion in its EPC subsidiary, Inox Renewable Solutions Limited (IRSL), formerly Resco Global Wind Services Pvt. Ltd., at a valuation of Rs 74 billion.
The transaction follows recent approvals for the demerger of Inox Green’s substation business and its merger into IRSL, which strengthened the subsidiary’s market positioning. IRSL is among the top two wind EPC service providers in India with more than 14 years of operational experience. It offers end-to-end renewable project services, including power evacuation infrastructure, on a turnkey basis.
IRSL is currently developing multi-gigawatt common infrastructure projects across India, particularly in Western states, to support upcoming renewable energy projects. The company has also diversified into crane services, transformer manufacturing, and hybridisation of power evacuation assets, in line with evolving renewable energy policies.
Inox Wind, part of the US$ 12 billion INOXGFL Group, operates four state-of-the-art manufacturing plants across Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh with an annual capacity of 2.5 GW. Its listed subsidiary, Inox Green Energy Services Ltd., focuses exclusively on renewable operations and maintenance, managing over 5 GW of assets.
With a diversified order book of 3.1 GW and strong investor backing, Inox Wind expects this stake sale to further strengthen its balance sheet and provide growth visibility for IRSL in India’s expanding renewable energy sector.
