Jayram Industries Wins Five-Year O&M for 39 MW Solar in Telangana
Under the five-year agreement Jayram Industries will carry out routine and corrective maintenance, system monitoring, condition assessment and spare parts management to sustain generation performance. The company will pursue measures to maximise availability and reduce downtime through preventive maintenance schedules, remote performance analytics and rapid fault response protocols. The scope covers inverters, transformers, module arrays and the balance of system components along with periodic performance reporting and regulatory compliance tasks.
The contract is expected to expand Jayram Industries' services portfolio in India's renewable energy sector and deepen its operational footprint in utility-scale solar O&M. The engagement will provide sustained service revenue and operational experience that the company can leverage across similar projects while strengthening ties with public sector energy stakeholders. The firm indicated that the assignment will also support internal capability building in asset management and grid interfacing operations.
The arrangement is framed as supporting SCCL's efforts to diversify energy supply and lower emissions associated with mining operations by integrating renewable generation. The work is intended to contribute to Telangana's broader renewable energy growth objectives and to improve local energy reliability where the plant operates. Jayram Industries will begin mobilisation and handover activities in the coming weeks to initiate operational control.
