JSW Energy to Operationalise 5 GWh Battery Plant in Pune by Q3 FY26
The company’s Joint Managing Director and CEO, Sharad Mahendra, shared that trial runs for its green hydrogen project at Vijayanagar, with a capacity of 3,800 tonnes per annum, are nearing completion, and commissioning is expected soon.
For the July-September 2025 quarter, JSW Energy reported a 59 per cent year-on-year increase in total revenues, reaching Rs 53.6 billion. However, its consolidated net profit declined by over 17 per cent to Rs 7.05 billion.
JSW Energy’s total locked-in storage capacity stands at 29.4 GWh, with agreements for 25.2 GWh of storage capacity. The company aims to achieve 30 GW of generation capacity and 40 GWh of storage by 2030.
