K.P. Energy Limited has received a Letter of Award from JK Paper Limited for the development of a 91.4 megawatt (MW) wind-solar hybrid power project in Gujarat. The project has been awarded on a complete turnkey basis and encompasses end-to-end activities including engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning. The scope also covers the development of evacuation infrastructure and enabling grid connectivity. The award was communicated through a formal filing to the stock exchanges.

The scope of work includes obtaining all requisite statutory and regulatory clearances and providing operation and maintenance for the Balance of Plant (BoP) of the wind capacity and for the complete installed capacity of the solar component. The company will undertake facilitation of permissions and interfaces with grid authorities as part of the contract. The turnkey mandate places responsibility for both supply chain coordination and on-site delivery with the contractor.
