Karnataka, a leader in India's renewable energy transition, continues to be a frontrunner with over 20 GW of installed renewable energy capacity. The state has consistently been ahead in adopting clean energy policies and is supporting next-generation technologies like offshore wind, green hydrogen, bio-energy, and hybrid renewable systems. Karnataka is also exploring innovative solutions such as peer-to-peer energy trading through blockchain, enabling better rooftop solar energy distribution.
With the goal of reaching 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030, the RenewX 2026 expo aims to foster collaboration and innovation, bringing together over 8,000 visitors and 200+ brands from across the globe.
Mr. Rajneesh Khattar, Senior Group Director at Informa Markets in India, highlighted Karnataka's critical role in the national renewable energy landscape. He emphasized the expo's role in accelerating technology adoption and business growth, furthering India's clean energy goals.
