KEC Secures Rs 15 Billion Orders Across Core Businesses

KEC International Ltd., a global infrastructure EPC major and part of the RPG Group, has secured new orders worth Rs 15.09 billion across its Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Transportation, and Cables & Conductors businesses.
In the T&D segment, KEC has received orders for 400 kV Quad transmission lines in India, and 500/400/220 kV overhead transmission lines in international markets. It will also supply towers, hardware, and poles across the Americas and the Middle East, expanding its global footprint.
In the transportation sector, the company, through a joint venture, has secured an order under the Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) initiative, also known as ‘Kavach’. This order enhances rail safety infrastructure for Indian Railways using advanced technology.
The Cables & Conductors business has won multiple orders for the supply of various types of cables and conductors, both in India and abroad.
Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO of KEC International Ltd., stated, “We are pleased with the broad-based order wins across our key business verticals. Notably, our global T&D presence has been bolstered by a significant international order, while a repeat order from a domestic private developer affirms our strong position in India. Our Transportation business has also gained momentum with another key TCAS project. These wins have taken our year-to-date order intake beyond Rs 70 billion.”
