KLK Ventures Secures 1,000 Solar Pump Order in Maharashtra
KLK Ventures has secured an order to deploy 1,000 solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra under the Government of India’s PM KUSUM Yojana. The project marks a key step in supporting clean energy adoption and sustainable irrigation practices in the state.
The scope of work includes the design, supply and installation of solar pump systems with capacities of 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP. The systems are intended to provide farmers with reliable and cost-effective irrigation, reducing dependence on grid electricity and diesel-powered pumps while improving energy access in rural areas.
The initiative is expected to contribute to improved water security for farmers, lower operating costs and support Maharashtra’s broader clean energy and sustainability objectives. It also strengthens the expansion of decentralised solar infrastructure across agricultural regions.
Commenting on the development, Akshat Jain, Chief Executive Officer, KLK Ventures, said the order reflects confidence in the company’s technical capabilities and execution strength, adding that the focus remains on delivering renewable energy solutions that create long-term value for communities and stakeholders.
With this project, KLK Ventures continues to align with national efforts to promote solar adoption and enhance agricultural productivity through scalable, clean energy solutions.
